Just recently received my HP all-in-one. So far I'm pleased with the quality of the product and the set-up was simple and quick. I've only used this a couple of times,everything works, it's a little noisy but that's OK. Would recommend to others.

First of all, I am an IT professional with over ten years of experience, so readers can rule out user errors. The printer hardware is good. It prints and scans quickly and quietly for its price. The supporting software, though, is abysmal. I have downloaded the latest version of the "HP Officejet Full Feature Software and Driver 10.0.0" and installed it on three different computers: Windows Vista, Windows XP Professional, and Windows XP Media Center Edition.

The HP OfficeJet J4680 is an excellent addition to a home/office. Setup took no time at all. I'm using the "all-in-one" device with a MAC OS X based laptop using the Airport Extreme router. The network found the J4680 and added it with no problems. The owner's manual steps you through setup using an ethernet cable initially. THIS UNIT IS REALLY SIMPLE TO USE AND INSTALLATION WAS A BREEZE. PRINT QUALITY IS ALSO VERY GOOD THE WI-FI IS GREAT. THIS PRINTER IS A PIECE OF CAKE. I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANY ONE WANTING AN INEXPENSIVE WI-FI PRINTER.

After reading some reviews on this printer I expected to have some installation problems. Read the manual FIRST and every thing installed and worked within 15 min. One word of advice if for some reason you have to reinstall make sure all previous installations are deleted.
