This is a great printer for a scapbooker like myself or anyone liking to print pictures. It's easy to use and the picture quality is great!

- Deep colors and durable prints
It's hard to describe how much better the Selphy's images are than what you get from most ink-jet printers. Don't be put off by the rated 300-dpi resolution; dye-sublimation blends colors by layering them over each other, while ink-jets simulate colors using side-by-side dithered dots. So, ink-jets _need_ higher resolutions just to fool our eyes. The Selphy's output is best compared to commercial photo-finishers, but with instant gratification.

- Please Don't Waste Your $
Yes, it prints quickly.
Yes, it even prints quality pictures!
Why am I so disappointed?
You can only use Canon paper! It says that it prints 4X6, but actually 4X6 paper does not fit in the printer! You have to use a slightly slimmer paper from Canon and then tear off the two ends when you get finished. This leaves ridges on the edges of your picture! I am so disappointed in the printer. Nothing on the box said that you would not be able to print actual 4X6 pictures!

First of all, can't beat this for the price. Went back and forth between this Canon and the equivilent Epson and HP models, but decided on the Selphy CP760 for a Santa Claus shoot. The printer is small (although as others have noted you need to allow a few inches fore and aft for the paper cartridge and print sequence), and easily fit into one of my Lowepro bags including extra paper and dye cartridges. - Fantastic Find
I love my new little printer. I do a lot of Scrapbooking and the printer
is so convenient. Can print a picture whenever I need one. The quality of
the pictures is as good as the ones I have had printed at Photo Shops. My
husband goes on Mission Trips and when he goes the little children love to
have their pictures taken. He plans to take the printer with him when he goes again so he can print their pictures and give it to the kids.
