The texture on the inside part of the glove provides a very good grip on the racquet. Dont forget to dry it off after use, that will extend its life.

Especially since these have been redesigned (the leather is now perforated, was previously smooth), the one weakspot of this glove has been remedied: durability.
The smooth leather version not only had a less tacky grip, but also did not last as long. When the old versions got sweaty, then dried out, they turned brittle. You then had to force your hand into a stiff, uncomfortable glove, and kind of "work it" until it was usable. This rebreaking-in process was horrible for the longevity ... Read More
